Manage Your Risk, Master Your Message

As a manufactured housing community, you take pride in the relationship you have with your residents. It’s hard enough to keep them informed of routine goings-on in your community. It’s even harder to help them make sense of all the conflicting information they hear during a crisis.
In this interactive session, we will use live polling with session attendees to explain how the emergency messaging process works, how it applies to natural disasters, and how current systems in place continually fail. We will discuss how the federal and local governments’ involvement is making confusion worse. We will identify solutions, and show you how to be that single trusted and reliable voice for those whom you have taken responsibility as leaders of your community. When the worst happens, your knowledge and action will save lives.

Chuck Bleth of Champion Homes & Darin Zaruba of Z, Inc.

Tiny Homes: What You Need to Know

What comes to mind when you hear the term “Tiny Home”? How do your local building officials handle “Tiny Homes”? What about IRC Appendix Q? Are Tiny Homes the same as Park Models? ADUs? RVs? HUD Code homes? What do you tell a customer who is shopping for a Tiny Home? And then, where can they put it? Chuck Bleth, Business Development Manager of Champion Homes and Darin Zaruba, Owner & President of Z, Inc. and Founder of the Tiny House & Simple Living Jamboree, will provide information and project ideas for you to consider as you educate yourself about this new housing option.
